Look, I’m not a big “okay, now stand here, put your arm here, and look off into the distance” kinda gal. I’m passionate about capturing authentic interactions. Are you awkward? Spoiler alert: same. Which is exactly why I hate posing!

Sydney is absolutely, without a doubt, the best photographer we could have ever chosen to shoot our elopement day. She was so attentive with every detail helping us plan our day in Glacier National Park from helping with permits (doing research and sending applications over and making sure I wasn't panicking when GNP took a little longer than usual to get back to us) to narrowing down our location (she scouted beforehand locations we were interested in and made sure we would be able to do exactly what we hoped for on our day (and more!)). Not only was her preparation for the day exactly what we needed, but when the day came, she was excellent company, a truly amazing photographer, and above all a friend. But let's get it straight- Sydney absolutely killed it with the photography. We got sneak peaks on our trip back home from Montana, and we were jumping in our seats the whole plane ride home. My husband and I cannot recommend Sydney more. She told us that storytelling is her forte, and let me tell you, she was one hundred percent correct. We wanted to showcase the backdrop of Montana, and not only did she do so incredibly, but also told our story throughout her photos. If you're looking for an epic photographer and friend, you've found her.

Adventure Sessions

+ You will receive sneak peeks of your day within 1 week of us parting ways so that you can share your most epic day with friends and family.
+ You will have an amazing time adventuring with me, but will also have peace-of-mind knowing that I am a Leave No Trace photographer and follow Leave No Trace guidelines. This means that I will make sure that we have a great time while also taking care of our natural spaces.

You can inquire by filling out my contact form and telling me all about yourself. The more details the better! We are going to be bffs by the end of this process! I will respond to your inquiry within 1-3 business days (I am usually pretty quick!). Your initial inquiry will set the stage for the rest of our conversations about your unique event or session. This is my favorite part! I would love to hop on a phone call or zoom call to answer all of your questions and get to know you better. Making sure that we gel well and are on the same page about your inquiry makes this process even more seamless! Every relationship starts with a foundation, and this is ours! I thrive off of deep relationships and conversations, so this is our time to get to know each other, and for me to hear your dreams for your authentic wedding day experience.
After our welcome call, you will have the option to receive a contract and invoice to solidify me as your photographer. GET ME ON THAT CALENDAR! Once a contract is signed and the retainer is paid, the planning will commence. We will discuss locations, vendors, timelines (or the intentional lack of a timeline), travel, and all of the nitty-gritty details that relate to curating your intimate experience.
Your favorite day. Ever.
We have done so much planning, and this is the day. We will talk all the deets way beforehand, but this is where it all comes together. What does your wedding day look like? Honestly, I can't tell you here, because it is whatever you want it to be. There are no pressures, no conforming to norms. Your wedding day is completely yours. Capturing these carefree, organic moments is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done; being a tiny part in your love story is what I am most proud of.
EEEK! 10-12 weeks after your wedding day (usually sooner), you will receive an email with a link to your online viewing gallery. This gallery includes every moment of your day for you to relive in chronological order. You can download high-res files straight from this gallery, but all wedding clients also receive a personalized memory stick and some special goodies shipped to your door. Such an exciting part of the process- to see the story of your day unfold!

Yes! My expertise and niche is elopements and small, intimate weddings. However, I do take on a limited amount of bigger weddings per year. If you are inquiring about a larger wedding (50+ guests), reach out now for my availability as these spots fill fast.
001. Do you shoot larger weddings?
In my opinion, intimate weddings are around 30-50 guests. Elopements are anything less! P.S. I don't count dogs as guests, although I think I have more dog friends than humans.
002. What is considered an intimate wedding or elopement?
I am going to say it louder for the people in the back... an elopement is anything you want it to be! Want to fly into your location on a helicopter? What about bringing your 4 dogs along? You can even hike a 14er on your wedding day. My job as your photographer is to find epic locations, give recommendations for other vendors, and capture your unique love story. I am there every step of the way.
003. What is your elopement experience like?
Yes! I take on a limited amount of seniors, and am always shooting adventurous couples! My favorite thing ever is meeting couples in epic locations and capturing that season of life for them. It doesn't have to be an engagement session!
