Have you ever heard the old saying, “When it rains on your wedding day, it means good luck and prosperity?”
Jeremiah and Sarah were praying the rain avoided their outdoor wedding ceremony in Northern Minnesota, but God had other plans! As the day went on, the radar was showing MAJOR mixed signals. First, no rain at all. Next, rain all day.
It started to sprinkle as we concluded bridal portraits. Me, being the enneagram type-6 that I am, claimed “we need to grab the umbrella, it’s going to start raining soon.” Well, maybe I’m psychic or maybe it was luck, but it started to heavily rain. This would normally be a bride’s nightmare, but Sarah went with it and we ended up with some dreamy, moody, rain photos. The ceremony needed to be moved inside last minute, but it could not have been a more perfect, rainy, fall wedding day in Northern Minnesota.
YOU HAD ME AT DONUT WALL!!! Every detail was planned to a “T.” From the beautiful florals to the donut wall, guests had beauty to look at in every direction.
Jeremiah and Sarah never let this pandemic alter their wedding plans. Their rainy, fall day in Minnesota turned into a beautiful sunset. With the sun peeking through the pines trees and the clouds parting, we knew we needed to make the most of the golden hour goodness.
Jeremiah and Sarah, your day was nothing short of perfect. To some of the most genuine people I have ever met, thank you for choosing me to capture your big day!
Even during a pandemic, we had the best time. *Cue Sparkler Exit*
