If you’re never been to Zion National Park… this is your sign. Between the breathtaking landscapes of red rocks, warm weather, and the sun constantly shining, it’s such a dreamy place to be. Who wouldn’t want to have an epic adventure session here?! Just one month before their wedding, Abi and Josh traveled to Utah for their Zion National Park adventure session.
If you know me, you know that I currently reside in Minnesota (see you soon, Montana!). I was road tripping to Utah with my boyfriend, and decided to open up some slots for elopements. Abi and Josh reached out and said they wanted to take their bridal portraits in Zion. So I said, “HECK YES!”.
Abi and Josh flew into Las Vegas, and drove down to Kalob Canyon, which is a less congested part of Zion National Park. After they changed into their wedding attire, we hiked about a mile until we came upon an overlook boasting 360º views. While the sun set, the red rock cliffs were covered in incredible shadows and golden light. Abi has said that this Zion National Park adventure session was one of her favorite memories of her wedding events. Not only did she get to have an adventurous session in the mountains, but she also got to say “I do” amongst all of her and Josh’s friends and family back home.
So if you’re wanting the “elopement vibes” but still want to be surrounded by your loved ones during your traditional wedding… adventure bridal portraits might be your answer! I can’t recommend a bridal portrait session enough. Who doesn’t want more photos in their wedding attire?!
