Hannah and Jack’s Glacier National Park adventure elopement was straight out of a fairytale, I swear. Having the opportunity to capture a couple who are so deeply in love warms my heart every time. Not only did we get to take some elopement photos, but we started with some casual couple’s photos – stay tuned.

GNP Elopement

Hannah and Jack traveled from Kalispell up to Glacier National Park and met me at the West entrance. Even though I knew I wanted to take them to Lake McDonald, we met up where there was cell phone service on the West side. (Pro tip: make sure to meet where there’s service in case there are delays – traffic, accidents, wildlife, etc.) When Hannah and Jack arrived, I was instantly beaming from ear to ear over the love between these two. They told me that they’ve been together for 6 years; I loved getting to capture their love story for them. Being big outdoorsy folks, these two had my heart!

After we had taken their informal couple’s photos, it was time for them to change into their elopement attire. They looked absolutely perfect. Hannah’s off-the-shoulder lace boho dress looked stunning along Lake McDonald’s sandy beach. And Jack!? Jack wore khaki pants, a white button-up, and a classic brown belt. It’s safe to say they were naturals in front of the camera. We spent the evening dancing and frolicking along the shore of Lake McDonald as the warm sunshine glimmered across the crystal blue lake. The sun didn’t set until after 9:00 pm, so we spent the entire night on the water until the sky gave way to blue hour. 

Hannah and Jack’s Glacier National Park adventure elopement was just one of the stops on my adventures in GNP-Montana. After we said our goodbyes, I had a 2 hour drive to the East side of the park for some epic camping and hiking adventures with my boyfriend (more to come on this later😏). GNP has such a special place in my heart; I love sharing my adventures + capturing couples who love it just as much as I do!
