Elopement Misconceptions

While there are many misconceptions when it comes to eloping, the most common two I hear are:

1. “Eloping is way cheaper than a wedding.”
2. “An elopement looks cheap.”

Starting with the first one – it can be cheaper than a wedding, yes! But it all depends on the kind of elopement you’re having, how many guests you’re having, where you’re eloping, etc. The list goes on and on for that one. I think that misconception is simply due to lack of knowledge on how many different kinds of weddings and elopements exist.  

The second misconception though is probably my least favorite one to hear. Not only do I love all things elopements, but what I love the most is the amount of personal touches that can be added. I can’t stress enough that an elopement can be whatever you want it to be. So if you’ve always dreamt of lush Spring florals and a grand sweetheart table – DO IT! Hadley and Brayden’s vision came to life with every little detail they had dreamt up. 

Know that you can spend money on whatever is going to make your day feel like the most special day of your lives. Because, at the end of the day, it’s still you and your person who matter the most. Hadley and Brayden’s romantic Bozeman, Montana elopement is pure proof of exactly that.
