A round of applause for wearing your wedding attire twice, amiright?! Day-before or day-after wedding sessions have quickly became one of my favorite things. Even if it’s been several years since you and your honey tied the knot, you can still put on your wedding attire and take some epic photos. This day-after wedding Montana adventure session instantly gave me all the inspo anyone could need when it comes to planning your own. So let’s get into 3 reasons you need an adventure session in your wedding attire.
Sometimes, eloping just doesn’t work for one reason or another. Whether you have family you absolutely want to be present, or there were travel restrictions in place (iykyk), it might not have been a feasible option. But by heading to an epic location, or even heading to your favorite local trail, you can get some more incredible images all dolled up once again.
This is such a fun option to not only have some more updated photos, but to let your creativity shine. You’ll have the opportunity to take less “posed” photos and capture more natural, candid moments.
Is there anything more romantic than celebrating your anniversary with a vow renewal? Especially in your wedding dress + tux. Ugh, my heart. If you have your dress preserved, you could even rent a dress or buy a more casual dress from a site like Lulu’s.
After all, there aren’t very many times in life you get to be a bride or groom. Take advantage of reliving your wedding day all over again. 🥰
The other two reasons are enough to convince me, but this one might just be my fave. If you’re planning a trip to an epic location, pack your wedding attire, hire a photographer, and watch some real magic happen. There is just something so magical about an adventurous elopement vibe that fills my heart to the brim.
