Did I wipe a few tears from my eyes as I put this blog together? Yes, even though Hunter and Kallee’s romantic intimate wedding near Sioux Falls, South Dakota was 7 months ago. If you’ve been around for a little while, you already know who Hunter is. But in case you don’t, Hunter and I met back in 2021 when we were both working at a New Year’s Eve wedding. We instantly hit it off, both passionate about documenting life’s little moments- and the rest is history.
Hunter and Kallee have one of those love stories that just seems too good to be true. They’re high school sweethearts, navigated college, and are building such a beautiful life together. Celebrating these two comes so dang easy. (Psst – check out their engagement photos here!)
Their sweet July wedding day at The Veranda couldn’t have been more picturesque. Every detail and moment was filled with so much intention and emotion. Both Hunter and Kallee exchanged gifts with their parents, which had every single person tearing up. But one of my favorite moments of the day was Hunter and Kallee’s first look. Hunter couldn’t fight back his tears when he turned around to see his bride! Which – you guessed it – had me fighting for my life. After exchanging private vows and snapping some romantics, it was time for their beautiful afternoon wedding ceremony.
Surprise, surprise, the emotions ran high while Hunter and Kallee stood before their friends and family. It was so evident throughout the entire day that they have a love that is timeless and true.
The rest of their romantic intimate wedding near Sioux Falls, South Dakota was full of yard games and cards in the shade, strolling the orchard, indulging in SDSU ice cream, and dancing the night away. But Hunter and Kallee’s wedding day wouldn’t have been complete without Hunter whipping out his videocamera for some sweet clips of his bride.
Documenting a wedding day for friends is something so special that I don’t take lightly. And fun fact! Hunter actually was the videographer for my wedding in August. I’m so grateful for this community to have introduced me to so many beautiful, talented people.
Make sure to follow Hunter’s videography page over on the ‘Gram (@chearmedia). Hey, you can even peep my elopement video there! 😉 But until next time, are you ready to wander?
