You know the age-old saying of, “When you know you know”? Jessica and Anthony’s relationship couldn’t be a better testament of exactly that. These Long Islanders traveled to Northwest Montana to tie the knot to each other for the second time. After going their separate ways after their first marriage, they found their way back to each other — and the rest is history. Jessica and Anthony’s laidback mountain elopement in Glacier National Park was everything they envisioned and more. And I couldn’t feel more grateful to have gotten to document such a special chapter in their love story.
Laidback Mountain Elopement | Glacier National Park Wedding
Because Jessica and Anthony had already “done the traditional wedding thing”, they were firm in what they wanted this time around. Their first wedding felt like it was about everyone but them. This time, Glacier National Park was high on their bucket list, so it only felt natural to head to the mountains. Jessica and Anthony envisioned a calm day just spent together, embracing every moment, and just being goofy. And let me tell you — they were a hoot and a half. I truly love when a couple is able to let loose and be fully present without a care in the world.
We began Jessica and Anthony’s laidback mountain elopement at their Airbnb in the best way possible — with breakfast! Back home in Long Island, these cuties love making breakfast together and enjoying slow mornings. It was fun getting to take their wedding morning slowly, just allowing them to soak in the sunshine and enjoy some together time before getting fully ready for the day. Once Jessica and Anthony were dressed to the 9s, they shared a romantic first look alongside the Airbnb before we hopped in the car to drive into the park.

The first stop we made in Glacier National Park was at Cut Bank for their ceremony. In classic best-friend-fashion, Jessica and Anthony played a couple rounds of rock-paper-scissors to decide who would read vows first. Spoiler alert: Anthony lost. Their vows were so special to hear, and absolutely had all of us fighting back tears as they poured their hearts out to one another. After they were officially husband and wife once again, we spent some time frolicking around Cut Bank taking newlywed portraits. Jessica wore her mom’s veil for some photos, which was an extra special touch to this gorgeous bride’s look.
Before spending the rest of the afternoon exploring some of the best that Glacier National Park has to offer, the newlyweds enjoyed their little wedding cake. By this time, the sun had finally decided to join us as we made our way to St. Mary Lake. The Fall colors were in full bloom, spoiling us with golden grasses along the shore, and vibrant aspens in the distance. After enjoying the beauty at St. Mary Lake, we headed up to Sun Point for a different view of the sparkling water.

The final two stops during our time together were at Logan Pass and Big Bend for some moody newlywed portraits accompanied by the warm glow of lanterns. There’s truly no better way to conclude a Glacier National Park elopement.
Documenting Jessica and Anthony’s laidback mountain elopement in Glacier National Park was a huge honor. I will never take for granted just how lucky I am to be trusted with capturing such monumental moments for so many beautiful couples. Talk about a dream job.
