Devin and Mark’s Bozeman, Montana adventurous couple’s canoe session was everything I could’ve asked for. Believe it or not, this photoshoot took place at the tail end of May! The contrast of the bright red canoe against the still, icy Hyalite Reservoir was such a beautiful thing to witness.

Couple’s Canoe Session

Devin and Mark were just one of those couples that were down to embrace the weather. For those that aren’t as familiar with Montana’s weather, Bozeman is typically in the mid-60’s towards the end of May. This sweet couple wasn’t afraid to cozy up for their photos and make the most of them. Devin and Mark were naturals. And their outfits?! Icing on the cake. Devin wore a stunning white dress complete with a wide brimmed hat embroidered with mountains on the side (talk about the way to my heart!). And Mark!? He had the mountainous, western vibe down to a T with his bolo tie. As if they didn’t look the part enough on their own, we filled their canoe with lush, boho florals from Earth Within Flowers. We were obsessed with the white blooms and pops of color.

I couldn’t feel more grateful for my couples – especially when they are as adventurous as I am! Devin and Mark’s Bozeman, Montana adventurous couple’s canoe session was so much fun to capture. Despite the rain, muddy boots, and cold weather, we had a blast floating around the water. They are the perfect example of why it’s important to be flexible when it comes to an engagement session, couple’s session, or even elopement!
