Not much can compare to a carefree day spent in Glacier National Park. As a Northwest Montana elopement photographer and planner, GNP feels like a second home at this point. Whether a couple has visited the park before or are first-timers, there’s something so special about getting to experience the beauty through their eyes. Nicole and CJ had never visited the mountains before, but were drawn to the majestic beauty of Glacier National Park. Their 7 Mile Pullout intimate wedding ceremony was perfectly tailored to them, featured endless views, and was such an honor to photograph.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony at 7 Mile Pullout | Glacier National Park Elopement
Nicole and CJ traveled to Northwest Montana from Eastern South Dakota, alongside their son and a handful of loved ones. They were seeking a laidback day full of enchanting views and time spent alongside their family. Their wedding day began at an Airbnb in Big Fork with coffee and donuts — yes, please! In their matching sweatsuits, sipping their morning coffee in the crisp mountain air, it was the perfect start to the day. While Nicole and CJ enjoyed their slow morning, lunch was set up in the gazebo. Guests and the happy couple dined on a classic Midwestern meal: steak and potatoes. What a way to kick off the day!
After wrapping up lunch, we made the drive from Big Fork to Belton Stage Park for Nicole and CJ to exchange their private vows. The views were breathtaking. Sprawling fields of golden grasses, blue skies overhead, and mountains on the horizon. Once we were done snapping a few photos at Belton Stage Park, we then headed to the 7 Mile Pullout in Glacier National Park for an intimate wedding ceremony with family. CJ’s brother officiated, which included a handfasting ceremony. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds cut their cake and guests enjoyed cupcakes before parting ways for the evening.

Eloping in Glacier National Park
The rest of the evening was spent exploring the park alongside Nicole and CJ. We visited Big Bend, a pulloff on Going to the Sun Road, and finally Sun Point. We caught an incredible sunset at Sun Point, which painted the sky various shades of sherbet. But the cherry on top was breaking out the lanterns for some magical bridal portraits overlooking St. Mary Lake. I think we absolutely nailed the enchanting vibes that Nicole and CJ were seeking from 7 Mile Pullout intimate wedding.
