It’s no secret by now that I have a deep love for microweddings, elopements, and intimate weddings. Kristine and Grant’s Southern Minnesota Rustic Fall Microwedding was such a beautiful day focused on love, family, and celebration. My team member Abi actually shot this wedding; it’s so much fun to get to experience the day through these images.
Kristine and Grant said “I do” at The Barn at Chapeau Shores in Albert Lea, Minnesota in early November. If you’re from the North, you know how unpredictable the weather can be – especially in the late Fall/early Winter. But Minnesota showed off with a pristine Fall day, and ended with a breathtaking sunset. Their terra-cotta and warm Fall tones color scheme created the perfect accents for the rustic wedding venue.
Microweddings provide the opportunity to truly focus on the love between you and your partner, without all the stress that comes with a large wedding. Kristine and Grant were able to spend their day enveloped in the love that they share, surrounded by those that love them most – which is exactly what a wedding day should be.
