If you are yet to experience Fall in Minnesota, add it to your bucket list now. Kyle and Jordyn’s Taylors Falls, Minnesota Fall engagement session served as the perfect example of why. Captured by team member, Abi, these photos still have me reminiscing on those crisp, moody Autumn days.
Kyle and Jordyn met Abi at the quaint riverfront town of Taylors Falls, Minnesota to capture the most incredible colors. Each outfit they wore looked absolutely perfect against the deep burgundies, vibrant oranges, and warm browns of the leaves on the trees. Not even a poet could’ve written a more perfect Fall day with the dense fog effortlessly floating over the St. Croix River. But let me tell you, there’s just something about the towering trees just perched on the rugged cliffs, peeking through the fog. (Prepare to miss the colors in the meantime, that’s all I’m sayin 😉)
If I still somehow haven’t convinced you that you need to experience Fall in Minnesota, I just know these photos will. Not only do you not need to travel all the way to the North Shore to take in the beauty, but you can expect the changing colors as early as the middle of September. Just note that the further North you go, the earlier the leaves change. Growing up in Southern Minnesota, and later attending college in Duluth, I was always in awe at how “early” Fall came up North.

If you’re planning for your own engagement photos, the Fall is such an incredible time to take advantage of some really exquisite scenery. However, until those cool mornings roll in, I’ll leave you with Kyle and Jordyn’s Taylors Falls, Minnesota Fall engagement session to tide you over.
