Fall in Glacier National Park is unpredictable at best. But when the weather behaves, it’s truly a dream. Tyler and Eric’s East Glacier Park early Fall elopement was one of those days where we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The couple’s energy was contagious and vibrant, keeping me smiling from ear-to-ear the entire day. From vibey getting ready photos to ending our day with a full moon among cotton candy skies, this mountain elopement was truly an honor to document.
East Glacier Park Elopement | Northwest Montana Weddings
Tyler and Eric traveled all the way from Florida to say, “I do” among the dramatic mountains and glacial lakes. They hit the jackpot by choosing early October for their nuptials. Not only did they catch some warm Fall colors, but they were able to frolic in the snow. We were drenched in full sunshine from beginning to end, with the most beautiful lighting flooding their Airbnb while getting ready. Speaking of getting ready: I will never recover from Tyler and Eric’s wedding morning. Tyler wore a satin slip, her veil, and espresso martini embroidered slippers while sipping the cocktails Eric whipped up. The vibes were everything. It was such a fun way to kick off their wedding day.
After finishing their espresso martinis, Tyler and Eric headed out to the front lawn to share their first look and exchange rings. Between wiping away happy tears, they had the biggest smiles on their faces. After exchanging rings and signing their marriage license, we made the drive to Ryan Beach in Glacier National Park. Once we arrived, Tyler and Eric laid out a picnic blanket to perch on the shore and enjoy pizza. From the first moment I chatted with this cuties, they expressed that they loved the idea of having pizza or hitting up a food truck.

Planning a Glacier National Park Elopement
Following their picnic pizza lunch, we took some time to explore the shore and surrounding forests before heading to Sun Point for Tyler and Eric’s ceremony. The wind was showing off, Tyler’s veil floating effortlessly while her and Eric exchanged vows. Again, the emotions were high and had me fighting back my own tears. It was so blissfully evident that Tyler and Eric are each other’s best friend, which is always a beautiful kind of relationship to document. After saying, “I do” at Sun Point overlooking St. Mary Lake, we took some newlywed portraits. The lake was impossibly blue, making for the most breathtaking photos.
We then made a couple stops at some overlooks in East Glacier Park, the newlyweds sipping champagne at one and sharing their first dance at another. Every activity on their itinerary was filled with the utmost intention, making their day even more special. After frolicking in the fresh snow at Logan Pass, we made a final stop at a sprawling field in St. Mary. Tyler and Eric’s East Glacier Park early Fall elopement concluded with another magical full moon.
